This year we're doing the hafla lineup for Tribal Revolution a little (okay, a lot) differently. We have more and more folks asking to perform and a limited amount of time to fill with performances. As a result, we're going to video submissions to choose our hafla performers. Details are listed below:

*All performances must be Tribal Improvisation or Tribal Fusion belly dance.*

Please submit a 3-5 minute recording of a single performance either on DVD or through an online link. The performance must be in the same style that you plan to perform in the hafla (i.e. sword, improv, goth fusion, etc). Your submission, however, does not have to be the exact same performance or choreography you plan to dance in the hafla.

All dancers must take 2 workshops or the equivalent of 2 workshops per person in a troupe. For example, a troupe of four must take 8 workshops between them. If one troupe member can’t take workshops then other members can take extras to make up for her.

Participants must be registered for workshops by May 1st to be invited to perform or the next performer on the wait list will be invited to perform in their place.

We will consider the following factors in our decisions about the hafla performers:
Quality of performance in technique and execution
Diversity of style (i.e. props, costume, music selection, fusion or improv style)
Diversity of geographic representation

**Please note: Due to time constraints and the growing popularity of Tribal Revolution, we may have to ask veteran Tribal Revolution hafla performers to take a step back to make way for new performers this year. We know our old Tribal Rev friends will understand!!

We will contact you by April 15th to let you know if you have been accepted.
Performers will be given one free hafla ticket and a $5 rebate per workshop upon arrival at Tribal Revolution.
